Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is France’s second-largest regional airport, playing a strategic role in passenger and cargo traffic. With a wide variety of technical assets (from BHS systems to vertical transport and parking equipment), Lyon Aéroport sought to professionalize its asset management practices to improve performance, reduce risk, and prepare for future infrastructure needs. ADL is facing some challenges : Identify vulnerabilities across all technical assets and optimize maintenance processes and Enhance asset reliability and reduce lifecycle costs for high-impact systems.
What did we do?
Risk mapping of all technical assets across the airport platform
Vulnerability and maintenance optimization studies on critical systems (BHS, escalators, parking, etc.)
Asset management maturity assessment and definition of an actionable improvement roadmap (ISO 55001 aligned)
Delivery of training sessions to operational and management teams to embed AM principles
Gains
Better control of asset-related risks and improved prioritization of maintenance actions
Operational efficiency gains through optimized processes for critical systems
Structured roadmap toward AM maturity and empowered internal teams via targeted training
