Do you enjoy working on diverse and challenging issues in the physical domain of infrastructure, public space, and real estate? Are you ambitious, creative, customer- and results-oriented, commercially driven, and practical-minded? Then come work at Oxand.
What does the role involve?
As a Business Consultant, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a variety of clients, each facing their own challenges—for example in the fields of asset management, project control, and/or change management. You can then apply this knowledge and experience across other assignments for both public and private sector clients.
In this role, you take the lead at the client’s site by setting the right example and acting as a unifying force between the client’s team members and your own project team. You don’t just provide advice—you actively help implement the solutions you recommend. You ensure that everyone within the client organization is aligned and working together effectively. This may include streamlining processes in areas such as policy, strategic portfolio management, projects, operations, and maintenance. Below are some examples of what you will work on or contribute to:
- Asset Management Professionalization Policy Document
- Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP)
- Asset Management Plan (AMP)
- Long-Term Asset Planning (LTAP)
- Organizing Data and Information Management
- Risk Analysis and Risk Management Plan
- Management Acceptance Process
- Recommend and Develop Corporate Values Matrix
- Formulate Long-Term Goals, KPIs, and Strategy
- Conduct Maturity Analyses, Gap Analyses, and Quick Scans
- Identify, Streamline, and Improve (Asset Management) Processes
- Raise Awareness among Clients’ Employees, Enabling Them to Implement and Embed Asset Management
- Convert Data into Management Information in our Asset Management Software (Simeo). This Supports and Substantiates Client Decision-Making Regarding Costs, Risks, and Performance of Asset Forecasts in the Short, Medium, and Long Term.
- … (our business is evolving every day, and so are the products and services required of Oxand, so what exactly you’ll be working on depends largely on customer demand and your preferences).
In addition to these more content-focused tasks, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the project pipeline with your client(s) remains well-filled—or is even expanded. In doing so, you’ll work closely with the account manager(s) responsible for those client(s).
