Context
The Interdepartmental Syndicate for Sanitation of the Paris Metropolitan Area aims to optimize its investments and maintenance. The deployment of Oxand Simeo is intended to combine technical insight with predictive methodology in order to optimize operational and investment costs, centralize infrastructure knowledge, and communicate the condition and aging of assets to stakeholders.
Our solution
Centralization and validation of data within the Oxand Simeo software Lifecycle Cost analysis of infrastructures Simulation of infrastructure condition over time under various maintenance scenarios Planning of investments and maintenance operations to reduce maintenance backlog
What Oxand delivered
Asset condition projection
Asset modeling and projection of their condition over time
Objectified renovation roadmap
Objectification of investment needs and definition of an associated renovation roadmap
Long-term investment vision
Validation of SIAAP's need for a long-term forward-looking vision for investment budgets
Questions about this reference
What did SIAAP set out to do?
To optimise its investments and its maintenance by combining technical insight with a predictive method: centralising what it knows about its infrastructure, and being able to explain the condition and the ageing of its assets to its stakeholders.
What does the lifecycle cost analysis add?
It prices an asset over its life rather than at the moment of intervention, so that a cheaper repair today can be compared with what it commits the following years to.
What do the simulations show?
How the condition of the infrastructure evolves over time under different maintenance scenarios, which is what makes the consequence of a maintenance choice visible before it is made.
Who is the asset condition communicated to?
SIAAP's stakeholders. Being able to show the condition and the ageing of the assets on quantified grounds is part of what the deployment was for, alongside the planning itself.
What does SIAAP hold at the end?
Its assets modelled and their condition projected over time, investment needs objectified into a renovation roadmap, and a long-term forward view of its investment budgets.
