Context

SIG, the public utility of the Canton of Geneva, holds a diversified asset portfolio: energy and network infrastructure — electricity, thermal, gas, water — alongside a real-estate estate. To strengthen its asset management practices, SIG set out to equip itself with a decision-support tool that optimises costs and makes the planning of renewal, maintenance and upkeep operations reliable, harmonising asset management within each domain and across all of them at once.
